“I’m very solid on Louisville,” Bonnafon emphasized. “Schools are still trying to recruit me until I sign, because there is always a chance of a change. As of right now, Purdue, Auburn and Kentucky are the only schools still trying to recruit me.”
“The relationships that I have with the coaches just made me realize that Louisville would be the right fit for me,” Reggie told me, when asked what it was that drew him to the Cardinals. “I think I can bring a lot of leadership to the team and be a hard worker that will push everybody on the team.”
The Senior-to-be has both personal and team goals for his final season with the Shamrocks.
“My expectations for this year, from a personal stand point, is to just play my game and show people that I am a QB. As for the team expectations this year, I think we can take each game one at a time and hopefully reach the state championship, once again.”
It’s no secret that players will talk to each other and try to recruit them to join them in college. Bonnafon admits that he does, but is about to pick it up even more.
“I have been, recently. But, I think I can get out here and recruit even harder. Right now, my main focus is probably [Ohio safety] Daruis West.”
As always, I gave Reggie the opportunity to end with a personal message to Cardinal fans.
“#CARDNATION!!!!! Get on the train!! The best is yet to come!!”
The scary part is that he’s probably right.
